Sustainability Launchpad Accelerator Bootcamp

This bootcamp aims to accelerate the development of sustainable business opportunities and entrepreneurial skills in an intensive, hands-on and fun environment.  It is open to all students from all academic backgrounds.  The key requirement is that your enterprise idea addresses an identifiable sustainability problem

On conclusion of the programme, if you have developed ideas with potential and wish to pursue them further we will connect you with our university business incubation supports.

The Sustainability Launchpad Accelerator Bootcamp will be delivered by members of the GROWTHhub team, industry experts who have experience working with startups and guest entrepreneurs from the green economy.

Detail:

  • Only 10 places available.
  • Time: 10am to 3pm
  • Open to all SETU registered students from any campus.
  • A stipend of €500 per student is available for successfully completing the programme.
  • Compete for prizes worth €3,000.
  • Location: GROWTHhub, Waterford campus.

  • Work independently to develop your business opportunity
  • Online mentoring
  • Compete in a local SETU pitching competition on Thursday 4th June from which 2 finalists will be selected to represent students at the I4S Grand Final, hosted by TU Dublin
Competition Finalists
  • Finalise your business model and pitch
  • Compete in pitch final and showcase event
  • Travel to TU Dublin (costs covered)
  • Compete against TU Dublin & University of Galway

Applicants can apply as an individual, or as a team. Please note, maximum team size =  three people.
