SETU Growth Hub hosted a visit by two researchers from ROVUMO University, Niassa Provence, Mozambique earlier this
week. The purpose of the visit is to showcase the capabilities of SETU and to co-design a 3-year research programme where SETU and ROVUMA can work together to develop agri-entrepreneurship education and practice in Niassa, Mozambique. The visit by the Rovuma delegation is supported by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs in Mozambique and the SETU Research Connexions Fund.
The visit from ROVUMA researchers follows a scoping visit by Dr Eugene Crehan, School of Business Waterford, Dr. Sheila Long, Faculty of Humanities Carlow and David Denieffe VP Student Engagement, to Mozambique in 2023, to explore partnerships with local universities. The SETU scoping visit to Mozambique was supported by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs in Mozambique.
The GROWTHhub is delighted to have facilitated these discussions and would like to thank the two researchers for travelling to meet us.
