Enactus Citi Foundation competition (Citi FDN is part of Citibank group).

Two SETU students, Anna Borsotti and Callum O’Dwyer, have been successful in the Enactus Citi Foundation competition (Citi FDN is part of Citibank group). Their projects have been shortlisted from dozens of entries from other Irish universities.  They are in the last 15 and 10 student projects will be chosen after their pitches on 8th Dec in Dublin.

The prize includes seed funding (of €1,000 and mentoring by Citibank advisors over the coming 12 months). In addition to funding, successful students will be invited to training days in January and March which will help develop and refine their ideas, before presenting to a panel of Citi judges and Enactus Alumni at a showcase event next year where they could win more seed funding.

This is a fantastic achievement as it is the first time that SETU (or indeed WIT) has had students enter this competition.  Both students will be pitching to Citi FDN judges on 8th December in Citibank offices in Dublin.

  • Anna Borsotti is on the Criminal Justice programme in year 2.
  • Callum O’Dwyer is BBS Year 4.

The event is finished.
